So, this month is National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo. The goal is to write a 50,000 word novel. Beginning, middle, and end. I have an idea. Maybe two. Maybe I'll just write a collection of stories that total up to 50,000 words. There's an idea. Anyways, it's also the November Poem-A-Day challenge over at http://www.writersdigest.com/ I'm also behind on my ficlet prompts. Guess what I'll be doing this month? If you're lucky, I'll keep you posted with my progress.
What I'm reading: Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky
What I'm listening to: Just Dance by Lady Gaga
Quote of the day: "You're sweet. I almost wish you were dead." ~Odd Thomas, Dean Koontz

Writing Update. Again.
So, since my last blog I still have not written anything. However, I have few story ideas in my head that I really, really need to put on paper. Well, one full story idea and a few snippets of dialogue. I just keep losing my focus. I can't seem to keep my eye on the prize. Of course, all of the stress in my life isn't helping. My big goal is to write an epistolary novel. It's a novel that is told not in the normal narrative, but through newspaper clippings, letters, diary entries, emails, and the like. But, the question is, do I start now, or wait until next month which is NaNoWriMo? (National Novel Writing Month). Maybe I could just write down the premise and do some character sketching, then delve into the actual story next month. Thoughts?
